Must Haves from Sephora Spring Savings Event 2022

The next Sephora Spring Savings Event is coming up right around the corner – with so many new launches this season and #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt trends, it’s a little overwhelming to decide what you should be spending your coins on. With early access for Rouge members starting on April 1, 2022, beauty fans all across North America can save up to 20% off their purchases, with exclusions applicable. The sale will run all the way until April 11th, 2022, with VIB’s getting 15% off starting April 5th and Insider’s receiving 10% off starting April 7th.

Sephora will also be offering 30% off their entire Sephora Collection with no code necessary during April 1st – 11th. While no code is necessary for the bonus discount on all things SC, you’ll have to use the code SAVESPRING at checkout to have the correct discount reflect on your cart. My best advice? Start loading your cart up with your must-have replenishments and want to buys before top picks get sold out in a flash.

While I personally will be restocking on my favourite products such as Merit Beauty’s The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick, I also intend to use this sale as an opportunity to try new products and trending products. I’ll be sharing below my personal picks along with highly anticipated buys for Spring 2022 which I highly recommend you check out yourself for the Sephora Spring Saving Event.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sunscreen SPF 50 Sephora Spring Saving Event SPF 50

Glow Recipe
Watermelon Glow Sunscreen SPF 50
$34 USD | $45 CAD

Glow Recipe has always come out with innovative wonders every season and their new Watermelon Glow Sunscreen SPF 50 is no exception. After the SPF scandal we had in 2021, it’s been hard to find a new sunscreen on the market that has 50 SPF while delivering impactful skincare ingredients. Filled with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and aloe – the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow SPF is a gentle sunscreen that hydrates and gives skin a visible glow while evening the appearance of skin tone over time. With the warmer weather and consistent sunshine lately, skincare brands have been launching SPF left and right but this one, in particular, is on the top of my list.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum Sephora Spring Saving Event

Estée Lauder
Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum Duo
$180 USD | $233 CAD

While already having additional savings in a duo, Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum is a cult favourite for a reason. Die-hard skincare junkies are constantly replenishing on this serum and as I’ve gotten older over the years, I can see why. My skin looks less tired and textured after a week’s worth of use so I’ll be replenishing on this duo. An extra 20% off can save as much as $36 USD whereas a single bottle retails for $105 USD.

Biossance Squalane + Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser

Biossance
Squalane + Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser
$26 USD | $34 CAD

Squalane is a hot ingredient in the market at the moment and it’s up there with Niacinamide. If you’re not using Squalane in your routine already, you should be and here’s why: while this ingredient is naturally produced by your body and can be found in your sebum, this plant-derived ingredient is fantastic at protecting your skin barrier and promoting a healthier microbiome. Your skin will feel nourished without having your pores clogged. This ingredient works wonders for those who have acne-prone skin and I need to have at least one product in my rotation with Squalane included. My choice would 100% be Biossance, known for their use of Squalane, and paired in their Amino Aloe Gentle Cleanser to gently cleanse and protect my skin.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Grateful

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez
Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Grateful
$20 USD | $26 CAD

It would be more surprising if I didn’t include Rare Beauty into my selection of must-shop beauty products for the Sephora Spring Saving Event 2022. While I much would rather have the mini version of this as a little goes a long way and I don’t think I would ever finish a full-sized bottle in my lifetime, their dewy true red shade Grateful isn’t available for purchase in a mini. You have probably already seen this on TikTok or on social media, highly raved by its pigmentation and blending capabilities. Those videos don’t lie! With 11 different shades to choose from, I wanted to add a colour to my collection that I don’t own.

MAKEUP BY MARIO MoistureGlow™ Plumping Lip Serum

MAKEUP BY MARIO
MoistureGlow™ Plumping Lip Serum
$22 USD | $29 CAD

Call it old age or the impact masks have made on me over the last 3 years but I no longer have much interest in a lip product if it’s not a) lightweight or b) hydrating. I love tinted lip balms yet never tried one that also includes a plumping agent into the formula. Seeing this all over social media has me intrigued and while some shades are sold out on Canada Sephora’s website, I’ll be picking one up myself just to try out the formula!

I have so many other wants on my list for the upcoming Sephora Spring Saving Event, these are my top picks. I would also highly recommend you sign up for Rakuten to get additional cashback and download their extension if you haven’t already! You can sign up with the link here and get an additional $30 in cashback for your first purchase of over $30 on top of your Sephora cashback! It’s usually 2.5% additional cashback during events like these, but I’ve seen Sephora have 8-10% cashback rewards before! Why not maximize your savings while shopping? Happy shopping babes, tag me on social to share what your Sephora Spring Saving Event haul is!
